Penang Bird Park

The Penang Bird Park homes more than 300 species of birds from around the world. You will have a chance to see some rare and exotic birds in this park. Besides that, the gardens here are also filled with beautiful floras, together with animals such as flamingos or swans that roam around freely. Some wildlife species can also be found, so despite its name, birds are not the only animals that you can find here!

Butterworth Ferry Terminal

Instead of driving or taking a car ride to the Penang Island through the Penang Bridge, why not try taking the ferry? You get to enjoy the view and relax on the ferry. Cars or bikes can be parked inside the ferry while drivers and passengers can head towards the upper deck to enjoy the view!

Pek Kong Cheng is a Buddhist temple that has been around for at least a century, and surrounding it are hawker stalls where anyone can go and get themselves some local delicacies.

Bukit Mertajam Recreational Forest

Get in touch with nature at the Bukit Mertajam Recreational Forest. For runners, hikers, or cyclists, you can head over here for your exercise. There are several jungle trails in here, as well as mini waterfalls. Apart from exercising, this is also a popular spot for camping or picnicking.
